Delete your Homaroo account
You can ask us to delete your Homaroo account and personal data at any time. You don't need the app installed to do this.
How to request deletion
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account (or tell us which email your account uses), with the subject "Account deletion request". We ask for this so we can verify the request comes from you.
What we delete
Once we've verified your request, we close your account and delete the personal information associated with it - such as your name, contact details, and any identity documents or photos you uploaded - except where we need to keep it for the reasons below.
What we keep, and why
We may retain certain information where the law requires it or we have a legitimate reason, for example:
- records of completed jobs and payments, for tax and accounting (kept for as long as the law requires - typically up to 6 years);
- information needed for safety, disputes, fraud prevention, or an ongoing investigation.
Where practical we remove or anonymise the personal identifiers in any information we retain. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How long it takes
We'll action verified requests within 30 days and email you to confirm once it's done.
